The 302 Tournament

History: The 302 Tournament started humbly enough as a competition between members of the St. Olaf Men's Cross-Country Team competed solely for pride. In the beginning the Tournament was administered using pieces of paper that were taped around the living room of 302 in the order the competitors finished. Legend has it that the brackets would remain up for the entire year until the next tournament so the Champions could relive their triumphs and the losers would not forget their shortcomings. The Tournament has developed into a bigger, higher-tech endeavor with cash prizes, but at the same time recognizes and remembers solemnly its noble roots. Take some time to stroll through the 302 NCAA Tournament's Hall of Champions.
