- What
do I do if I want to add more than one news item (there is only
one box for adding an item)?
- You
will have to enter the items one at a time, or if you are
removing one of the current items, you can simply type a new
item in its place, and add a new item (thereby adding two
at once).
- What
will happen if I have no news items?
- The
page is programmed to read "There are no news items at
this time" in that situation, but you are encouraged
to put something there of interest, even if it's just something
like when practices begin next.
- People
are saying that they are seeing an "old" page. What
is wrong?
- Their
computer is "caching" the page, meaning that it
saves an old copy to save time the next time the user asks
to see it. They need to refresh the page - there is a "user
tip" on your Breaking News page, so that
hopefully that can be avoided entirely.
- What
if I want to rearrange the news items?
- You
are able to select an item to move to the top, or to the bottom,
using the radio buttons in the editing screen. Generally,
moving to the top is the most popular choice as often times
a new item is the most urgent/important. However, if you would
like an item to be second, for example, you can send it to
the top, and then send another item to the top.
